Hey folks! My name is Amanda Silcox, a person in long term recovery from substance use disorder. I serve on JCRC’s advisory board as well as the volunteer coordinator. I am a compassionate individual with lived experience who offers support. I am in my last year of undergraduate school and am a successful psychology student skilled at exhibiting leadership abilities and following personal accountability standards and ethics. I believe in recovery and giving back what has so freely been given to me. I have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with individuals on a personal level or in a group setting. My commitment to JCRC is strong and genuine. Recovery is possible!
